November's an exciting month full of events! It started with our 8 year anniversary! We decided to take a weekend get away, kid free, which we haven't done since Reece was born. We chose Las Vegas because it was the one place close enough for a weekend and someplace we could justify going without the girls! James and Morgan were abler join and Dad and Karen offered to watch the kids so it was a win-win! We had a blast!
Funny story, we were walking through the hotel the first night and this drunk man was so excited that Nick had on a Oregon Duck hoodie that he gave us is $40 butter cake! It was AMAZING-he was right!
The kids had a blast keeping Dad and Karen busy-day and night!
They drove until they found snow and had a party!
Reece's friend Ali invited her to Disney on Ice for her birthday! They had a blast!
Halee's growing up so stinking fast! She's such a happy kid when you're talking or playing with her and very content for the most part being out of the house! She hates laying down. She wants to be sitting up and part of the action. She turned 4 months and is growing well! She's up to 14 pounds 12 ounces (60%), 25" tall (75%) and head at 85%. We started her on rice and she wasn't really a fan so we tried oatmeal and she's loving it! She's only waking about once a night before she's up at 7 or so now!
Thanksgiving was delicious. We went to John and Kristen's house! All the food was amazing-thanks to all of Kristen's hard work! The girls and I made some cupcakes for the kids to try and contribute!
The night before Thanksgiving we had a snowstorm! The girls loves watching it! The flakes were the size of quarters-it was beautiful! So of course the next morning they wanted to go play in it! Nick was sweet and took them out. Eliza didn't last too long because she got cold but Reece could have stayed out all day if we'd let her!
We didn't go shopping on Black Friday-It was a nice relaxing day. Reece wanted to put up the tree so badly so that's what we did! The girls did an amazing job helping me decorate! In between putting it up and decorating we were even able to a movie for Krew's birthday!
