So my mom found this dress that I wore when I was little. I put Reece in it to compare. I think she resembles both of us, What do you think?

First Road Trip

Reece had her first road trip to Rocks Springs Wyoming this last week. Nick's uncle's wife passed away so we drove out for the funeral. We thought we'd make a trip of it. We got a room at the Little America. It was fun just to get away on an adventure and Reece did amazingly well:) Just one small melt down on the way there but other than that she just observed the scenery and slept. Sweet little thing!

Dodgeball

Walmart played a part in the special olympics dodgeball tournament this year, so Nick was able to play in it, along with some other employees. They took their uniforms off the clearance rack from the store and the tournament provided the shirts and sweatbands. I tried to get some action shots but his team wasn't the best and they lost both games rather quickly, but had fun none the less.

2 month Doctor's Appointment

Today Reece had her 2 month Doctor's appointment. It was a little traumatic, mostly for me. She had to get her shots:( and on top of that she's got a cold, She's got this sad little cough, watery eyes (as you'll see in the pictures), and a stuffy nose that causes her to gag even more than before. But she's trooper. She had to get a liquid vaccine and then three shots, two in one thigh and one in the other. She did amazingly well, minus the initial outburst where she couldn't quite catch her breath, she was able to calm down pretty quickly and has been pretty good since. Hopefully we'll all have a good night. Last night was the best yet. She slept from about 10 pm to almost 5 am straight threw! Could have been from the fact that she's so sick and drained, or the fact that the night before we really didn't sleep at all, but hopefully it's a new trend she's starting. I"ll gladly accept it:) She's growing well! Her weight is up to 10 lbs 15 oz which puts her in the 55 %. Her height is up to 23 inches (75%-which is shocking when you compare who her parents are :)) and her head is measuring 15 1/4 in (50%-very unSeamons-like) So all in all she's measuring just about right on.
I was so glad I got one of her smiling :) She's such a cutie!!



Daddy's girl!

8 weeks!

She's 8 wks today. Time flies! She's growing well, as you can tell by the buldging belly :) She goes to the Dr for her 2 month check up on Thursday so we'll see how much she weighs. She so alert. Nick came home for lunch, sat her on his lap she talked and smiled to him the whole time. She's holding her head up pretty good now. She loves her daddy so much. Her eyes are still very blue. We'll just have to wait and see if they'll change

Reece's Blessing

Reece was blessed on July 4th, which made it fun! After her blessing we grilled some hotdogs at a park and just had a fun, low key event. Thanks all for bringing yummy food and for all your support.

I guess her dress was a little slippery cause Nick said she started sliding away from him during the blessing but luckily no casualties :)

Summer Fun

My sister and her family were sweet enough to drive down from Missoula for Reece's blessing and then they were able to stay for the week. It was so much fun. We went to North Beach a few times and had some wicked volleyball games. We played this game called "Chubby Bunny" where you had to stuff marshmallows in your mouth one at a time and say chubby bunny. You keep taking turns adding more and more until you gag or they fall out. I got out early because I was laughing so hard I couldn't keep them in :( but I did manage to beat Morgan who lucky for me has a short gag reflex.

Here is my brother John, the winner. He was able to get 18 marshmallows in.

Sweet Reece with her daddy who she missed so much that day. She was being pretty fussy but as soon as she got in his arms she fell asleep.

Cousin Jaxon giving baby Reece a kiss. He was so cute with her. It was so fun having him up. He had special names for a few of us. He is Jax Man to the tune of Batman wit the melody before of coarse, Reece is Baby Reece and I'm Katie Poo. Such a cute, good little guy. We can't wait for them to come back and visit.

Reece is getting so big. She's changing from a newborn to a little baby girl. We've noticed a huge change in her this last week. She's started to discover her tongue. It's so cute to watch. And you'll be happy to here Aunt Jamie, she's so much more alert and awake now.

Crazy Hair! This was right after a bath. It goes so curly when it's wet and then as it dries out, it straightens some. James and Morgan are sweet enough to call her Nick Nolte, because apparently her hair looks the same as his mug shot. I didn't know who he was, surprisingly, so I looked it up and it sadly does :(

Grandpa and Grandma Roskelley had a delicious steak cookout before the Logan fireworks. Reece even stayed awake for them and just stared as they were going off. So cute!
