Fisher Christmas Party

The Fisher Christmas Party was last weekend. It was Nick's Uncle Kile and Aunt Jen turn to host and they did a splendid job :) Good food, good company, good times. Thanks again. Oh, and did I mention a special guest happened to pop in which the little kiddies enjoyed-well most of them ;)
She wouldn't sit on Santa's lap. I guess she's familiar with "stranger-danger". So Daddy just held her while Santa gave her a gift
Then she tried to give it back . She's so generous :)
She was so excited for the pajamas (once she opened them)- she couldn't wait to show them off

Thankgiving 2011

Thanksgiving this year was a little off due to Nick working nights. He had to work the night before and the night of so Reece and I were flying solo. But we were able to spend time with my family and enjoy some delicious grub (as always) so it was enjoyable. I love the the holiday season, all the lights, the music, the get togethers and love of family and friends. Just the feeling in the air is so peaceful! I just love it!!! So in the spirit Nick was sweet enough to find time between sleeping and working to get the tree up for me. Then while Reece was napping I was able to get it decorated! I just love waking up in the morning, turning on the tree, and listening to Christmas music. It's even better when Reece decides she wants to cuddle with me on the couch instead of play with Oli.

18 months

Last Friday out little peanut turned 18 months. She's so fun to be around and she's so stinking cute, I know I'm a little bias but non the less :) She had her doctor's appointment today and she did amazing. She had to have 2 shots but she just cried for a short second then pulled the band-aids off and and started playing with them. After they weighed her she had to stay in her diaper until the doctor came in. It was so cute, I wish I had my camera so show you but I wasn't that prepared. Try and imagine for me, Reece laying on the bed just in her diaper, pillow under her head, and a sucker in her mouth. :) Funny girl. She weighs almost 23 pounds (80%), she's 32 1/2 inches tall (65%) and her head is down to the 75 percentile. She's pretty much perfect. Things she's into lately, She LOVES babies and dolls. She'll wrap up her dolls in her blanket and bounce them in her arms while she carries them around, so funny. She tried to whistle the other day. She loves to sing. I think her favorite songs are The Wheels on the Bus and Ba Ba Black Sheep. She gets a few of the words that we can understand:). She loves forts. She pull a blanket over to Nick when he's sitting on the couch and look him straight in the face and say, "Fort, IwantFort"- Yes, all one word :) The other day she was playing horse with Nick. She was climbing on his back and pulled his shirt up and said, "Cookie" and started scratching at a mole like she was trying to get it.

She's still into shoes-don't you worry
She enjoys rocking but as you can see, she needs her baby in front of her :) (Just like Daddy did with her on the four-wheeler) She catches on quick

Yes, that's our daughter in her diaper, cowboy hat and boots riding her horse :)

She's sort of getting into the potty train mode. I thinks it's more of an entertainment than anything. But one time when she said 'I pee', I took her to the toilet and one drop came out. I'm sure it wasn't intended but non-the-less. So the above picture is her enjoying a piece of candy for the success. It's pretty cute though when she sits on the toilet. We'll get her up on her little seat and she instantly needs a little piece of toilet paper. She wraps it up and sticks it between her legs and then 'iwantmore' comes out and she'll turn around and attempt to flush. We'll give it another few months before we really attempt that battle :)
Showing off her coat :)

Enjoying a roll. I think she was able to get 2 bites in before she 'shared' with Oli.

Halloween catch up

These AMAZING roses are from my dear husband for our Anniversary. He was still down in training so we weren't able to be together but the roses were beautiful! Reece enjoyed smelling them :)

On to Halloween... We were able to hit up a school carnival with my brother John's family. Reece enjoyed all the kids and costumes. She wasn't too interested in the games but she sure enjoyed the popcorn:)

Halloween day Reece and I thought we'd start the visits off early because last year we didn't make it to many houses because she fell asleep. Nick had to work that day so we did a few trick or treats before be got home. She enjoyed Grandma and Grandpa Roskelley's house. They gave her a little book that she enjoyed reading with Grandma. Thanks :)

UEA Fun

Reece and I had some enjoyable bonding time over UEA. I was lucky enough to have work off and spend time with our little peanut but Nick sadly is still in training in West Jordan during the weeks so we tried our best to stay busy and keep our mind off of missing him. Gladly, only 1 1/2 more weeks and he's done with that ;)
I caught this picture of her waiting at the door. Every time a loud truck goes by she runs to the door and yells, "Daddy" So cute but so sad. Hopefully she's young enough that she won't permanently remember this :)

We started the week off with a Halloween Carnival. The young men and young woman of our ward put it on for the kids. She enjoyed dressing up and seeing all the other kids but didn't quite understand the concept of waiting your turn in a line. So needless to say we didn't stay very long,

We had lunch with my dear friend Jamie and her boy at Willow Park. They loved feeding the ducks:)

And the swings are always a hit :)
We even made it to the Pumpkin Walk with Nick's family-well sort of :) The line was horrendously long and the weather has taken on the cold, fall chill. So we went the back way but say enough. Reece's favorite part was running around in circles. After we were officially frozen, we went for a nice warm treat at Zeppes. Their Italian Ice is so yummy:) Thanks again, it was delicious :)

And as a wonderful side note, this month we welcome 2 little girls into our family, My brother welcomed Baby Maci on the 12th and my sister had Baby Addalyn on the 20th. We're so greatful that everyone is healthy and happy. And Reece is loving all the BABIES:)

Here are some pics of Reece enjoying time with Maci. Can't wait to play with Addy :)

Fall Fun

This last weekend we took advantage of the wonderful fall weather. Nick was home for the weekend so we decided to have some family fun! We first hit up the pumpkin launch, not quite as adventuresome as I remember but Reece was entertained for a short time. Then we went to the Little Bare Bottoms Corn Maze. I'll admit, it was fun. They have a hay pyramid that's a maze inside. Reece loved it. Some parts were a little more claustrophobic than others but it was fun. I think next time we'll have to bring some other kids with us to chase her.

This was a little girl we ran into:) Reece chased her for a but, Yes that is a mullot and a girl :)
We tried the corn maze after but it wasn't near as entertaining for her

A few weekends a go was cousin Kendall's first birthday party. She had a bouncy house and everything, quite the ordeal. It took Reece a while to warm up to everything but when she did she climbed on in the house and had some fun, Thanks to Destrie for playing and keeping such a good eye on her.
