New Home!!

Nick poured the concrete for the floor with the help from his good friend Mike Rutledge, Danny and Lynn. Thanks for all the help :)

Nick also laid some of the flooring. He did a great job and the girls enjoyed running around while he worked on it.

The finished product! I love it:) We closed last Friday but due to work schedules wont' be living in it until later this week.

Ice skating and Valentines

We decided we'd let Reece take a try at ice skating. She did pretty good. Nick helped her the first round, then carried her the second. Then we realized they have walker type support things you can rent for just this situation. Then she did great with Nick by her side for stability.  Eliza and Mom just watched and roamed around while they skating . Next time maybe we'll bring a stroller to push Eliza in so we can all go

Surprise, I think her favorite part was the shoes:0

Random-Eliza just chilling on her pillow bed

Valentines was a little off this year because we were moving out of our apartment the next morning. I knew we'd be in chaos and still wanted to try and make it special so I got each of the girls a little mailbox and each morning had a surprise inside for the "14 Days of Valentines". Reece loved waking up each morning and opening them and seeing what was inside. This is Reece showing off what was in their boxes Valentines morning.  For those who don't know, We're building a new home and it's not quite done but our lease is up at our apartment so we're moving in with Nick's family for a month or so until it's finished.

Nick opening his from the girls and mom. The girls gave him a shirt with a road map on the back and some cars to drive on his back, and I made him a little book of memories. They got me a rose and some. yummy chocolates :) That night we took a break from packing and moving and had a kid free dinner while Nana and Papa Lynn watched the girls.

NIcks BIG 30 and Princess FUN

It's official, Nick's 30 years old. I tried my best to make it a memorable one, surprised him with tickets to Nitro Circus that evening and got him out of work.We were able to go to lunch and spend the day as a family before he took off with 2 of my brothers. Reece was so set on making him a cake so we made one after he left for work the night before. She picked out 30 candles and arranged them herself. The minute Nick walked in the door from work that morning she was so excited for him to open his gifts and eat his cake! Happy Birthday Nick! You're such a hardworking, loving, dedicated husband and father and such a wonderful man. We love you so much and are so greatful to have you in our lives!!!

The next day, Grandma and Papa Curtis had bought tickets for the girls and cousin Kendall to a princess party and Castle Manor.  Reece couldn't decide which princess to be but in the end chose the blue princess, aka Cinderella. The poor little thing has had a bad cold and was a little drugged up for the party so wasnt' quite herself but still informed me that she was having tons of fun and was so excited, despite her facial expression :)

Their favorite part of it all, despite dressing up, was storytime with the Fairy GodMother :)
