9 MONTHS!!!

I'm still in shock that our little peanut is already 9 months old! She's growing so dang fast, but she's such a blast to be around. She thinks she's just the funniest thing ever! She's such a happy baby now (when she's not sick :)) She'll just start laughing at who knows what and then give a few claps, so stinkin cute! She had her doctor's appointment last week. She's doing great except that her weight has dropped because she's been sick for basically the last month (dang RSV), but she should gain it back quickly once she starts eating her usual amount again. Her exact measurements are: head 17 3/4 inch (80%), height is 28 inches (60%) and her weight is down to 17 pounds 14.5 ounces (35%). As far as fun things she's doing, where to begin... she's still walking along everything and she's standing fora few seconds now on her own and getting more stable as the days go by:) She's flinging a ball pretty good when she plays toss with nick. It's funny, the other day we noticed that she's mostly using her left hand to throw and feed herself, so I guess we'll just have to see what happens there:) She's very ticklish, mainly on her sides and the base of her neck. And if you get her when she's in the right mood she'll let out a pretty good belly laugh:) Nick can get her laughing so hard. So fun to watch! She loves Oli! Yesterday she was crawling towards him and lowered her head and just rammed him. it was pretty entertaining. She'll also stand against the couch and grab ahold of one end of his toy. He'll be on the couch and grab ahold of the other end and they'll just tug and tug. I've tried multiple times to get a picture or video but by the time I get the camera, they're done:( She's pushing her walker across the room, but again by the time i get the camera she's either ran into something or passes something and becomes distracted Below is an attempt to get the walker recorded but I'll keep trying though. She FINALLY had a tooth come in a few weeks ago and a second is on it's way, so you can believe that she'll try and eat anything she can (of coarse except her baby food) Her favorite thing is popcorn no doubt (Fisher genes shining through once again:) I can't get her pieces fast enough. It takes Nick and I to inspect to be able to keep up with her. We line them up along the edge of the couch and she'll stand there just grabbing one after another. She shovels them in so quickly and you better believe that the few that miss her mouth, Oli is right there at her feet to pick them up. She's clapping at just about everything she does, especially the things she knows she shouldn't get into. She was doing something she shouldn't the other day and Nick told her 'no' and she turned around and started clapping and smiling at him. She's such a stinker sometimes but we love her so so much and are so greatful she's a part of our lives!!

Valentines 2011

Valentine's Day was great! Nick is so sweet. He showed up after work with these beautiful flowers and the sweetest card that, sad to admit, brought a tear or two to my eye:) And then for Reece he got her this cute balloon with a ring pop attached:) It was so thoughtful and cute. Reece also got this amazingly plush ginormous pink hippo. She LOVES it! So cute to watch her play on it. :) We also went to Maddox for dinner! It was delish as always!! Can't beat those rolls:) Thanks sweetie for making it so special! I love you!!

RECENT EVENTS

Well surprise...Reece is sick again. RSV this time. Poor little thing has to have breathing treatments again. It's so traumatic for all of us! She screams so loud during them, which i guess is a good thing because it opens her lungs, poor baby :( But she is getting better. And she gets so excited when she's out of the house! She gives a huge cheeser of a grin when Nick's holding her outside! I love it:)

This was taken in St George. A few months ago we decided we'd want to get away from the January inversion and freezing temperatures and head south towards warmth and sunlight:) To no surprise disease decided to come that same time:( But we did eventually make it down, we just weren't able to stay as long as planned. We were blessed to have one nice, warm, relaxing day but then headed back the next night due to colder weather on the horizon and mainly because Reece wasn't sleeping too well in the hotel room. But it was still fun and relaxing the short time that we were there. Thanks G&G for the sunny times and hopefully you don't catch anything :)
We FINALLY put away her sink bath and decided to try out a big girl bath! She loves it, just being free in the warm water :)

Nick was able to take these adorable pictures while I was running. She loves to bounce and watch while Nick and I run and I guess she was just worn out after :) PRICELESS!!

Nick's 27, Reece 8 months and first haircut

Time is flying by! I seriously can't believe how fast it's going. My little baby is already 8 months and Nick's already 27. Things are great though:) For Nick's birthday we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with his side of the fam. Reece enjoyed the saddle with daddy but was a little unsure of it alone:) She's such a stinking cutie! Then we went to Takara Sushi (Nick's fave) the next day for lunch with the members of my fam that could make it. Then someone was smart and came up with Shaffer doughnuts for dessert cause Nick didn't want a cake and it was right next door oddly enough! Needless to say we consumed enough calories for the week but it was greatly enjoyed and well worth it:)

Reece is walking along everything and getting pretty good to get back down to the crawling position, Oh and did i mention she is so stinkin fun to be around. She makes me laugh at so many little things she does! She's started this new thing where she'll crinkle up her nose with her mouth wide open and belly laugh and occasionally throw in a snort or two-LOVE IT!!! She's standing on her own pretty well now too, and for some reason she thinks she can walk over to you but as soon as she starts to move, she looses her balance and falls. But the sweet little thing will just get back up and try it again. The other night I even caught her trying to climb out of her crib! We're in trouble, she's way to young for that:(

On New Year's Eve it became apparent to us that her hair was getting a little crazy. It was SO long in some areas and let's just say it, out of control. So Aunt Morgan was sweet enough to get out the scissors and start chopping! She did a great job. It worked well cause Reece just fell asleep so I just held her while Morgan tried her best to just even it out the best that it could be! It was sad to see the long pieces fall but looks SO much better. And it's soo blond now!

First Christmas with Reece

Christmastime was so fun this year! Reece loved the lights and presents. She wasn't spoiled at all ;) She received so many wonderful toys and she loves them ALL! Thanks again to everyone!
She was so excited for Christmas. She woke up at 6 all happy and chatty. We opened gifts and saw what Santa brought. We then headed to Uncle Cody's and then over to Nana's. Busy but fun :)

My sister and her family came down and spend christmas break with us. It was so nice to have them here, even with the sicknesses that always seem to make there way in around the holidays :) Thanks for coming! We were even able to get a cousin shot while we had them all together!

7 MONTHS!!

Time is flying! She's so stinkin fun to play with and be around!! I just love it! She's crawling like crazy and into just about anything she can get to:) The christmas gifts used to be wrapped and under the tree and my dear sweet Reece has been sweet enough to help everyone out and start unwrapping them. So if you're gift is one of the special few that was on the front lines of the battlefield, Sorry :) A little Christmas bonus from yours truly :):) She's loving Christmastime. The tree and lights and of coarse the wonderful christmas shows, can't miss those :) As far as growing is concerned she's changing and progressing constantly. She's pulling herself up on just about anything. Last night Nick was laying on the floor and she started climbing on him and then became so mesmerized with his belt! So funny! And then when her legs get tired from standing, she'll just kneel on down and chill there for some time playing and discovering whatever she can get her hands on! We love her so much and can't seem to get enough of her!!
