GIRL!!

Most of you are already aware but we're having a girl. She was lady-like and all when we tried to find out with her legs crossed and tucked up underneath her; but after much poking and probing we were able to get a small shot of her:) We're exciting. The first grandchild on Nick's side and the first granddaughter on mine. She won't be spoiled though :) This picture is the best for now. it looks most like a baby as oppose to an alien. The 3D pictures are a little scary for now but my ultrasound tech gal said that in a few more weeks she'll start looking more like a baby and we can take another look then:) So i'll post when I get them, that is if they look like a baby face:) She's growing like a weed! They moved my due date up to May 31. The ultrasound said May 28th but my doctor said we'll just keep an eye on her and we can adjust as needs be so i'll keep you updated.

BUN IN THE OVEN!!!

Just thought I'd announce it officially because the words now out, I'm pregnant!! We're so excited! I'm 16 weeks along this week and due on June 3rd. We'll find out what we're having next week :) A little early you think, just the perks of working at a women's doctor office and having an in with the ultrasound lady :) We'll let ya know when we do. Nick has this feeling it's a girl but we really don't care what it is as long as it's healthy.

Vacation FUN!!!!

So for our anniversary we decided to finally head back to Nick's old mission stopping ground of San Diego. We flew down and chilled for a few days and then boarded a cruise ship for a quick sail to Cabo :) We found such cheap tickets that it cost less to cruise than stay in a hotel so we jumped at the opportunity.
The San Diego temple is truly the most beautiful sight I've ever seen. Nick wasn't joking! It's amazing! I strongly recommend everyone going if they get the chance :) The celestial room brought tears to my eyes, it was that good! Pretty funny story, we rented out clothes so we wouldn't have to hall them. Well I've never rented before so I got all dressed up and headed and the sweet old lady that was helping pulled me aside and informed my that I had by dress on backwards! I was so embarrassed! I was all flushed and hot:) She turned on a closet light and let me go in and change my dress around. Starting off right:) It was a wonderful experience though :)

LeRoy and Carly were able to come on the cruise with us. It was such a blast. Good times and so warm. We rented these tandem bikes. They were so fun!!

The beach was SO beautiful and the water was SO warm. We just swam our little hearts out :)

When we got back to land and dropped Dan and Carly off at the airport, Nick and I drove around and visited some of his old areas. It's beautiful there an he really enjoyed the memory travel :) He was so sweet and got us this beautiful hotel on Mission Bay for our last nights there. It was so fun staying in a nice hotel. They had cute lemon smelling bathroom trinkets :)
It was a good time.

Sorry the pictures don't give it justice but the sunsets in San Diego on the beach are the most breath taking ever! So relaxing

Sad to come back to reality and work but good to be back. Oli was waiting anxiously for us:)

Birthday FUN!!!

Kristen had some great games for Nate's birthday party!! This flour fun was the result of one of them. You placed a dime on the top center of a packet bowl of flour. Person by person took a turn cutting away at the flour. The person who cut resulted in the dime dropping. had to fish the dime out with their nose-hence the flour faces:):)

Eatting Kristen's delicious cake and ice cream!

Another game of fun excitement. The person sitting down (Tyler) had to direct the blind folded person (me) where and when to pour the cup of water into the cup on top of the sitting person's head using a mirror. Pretty exciting and wet:(
As you can see, Nick didn't direct properly!
This is Nate's amazing birthday cake that Kristen creatively made. Not to shabby if you ask me:)

Cute pics and James is ENGAGED!!

Here it is:) So james decided it was time to pop the questions. He took Morgan's dad out to lunch and had 'the talk'. He said he wasn't sweating but we know James :)

He (Nick and I) wrapped a fridge box for him to be in with the ring and roses. He stayed outside her door and planned to have a friend make sure they would come out, for dinner or something and there he was, SURPRISE! It really took her off guard.

They've set the date for May 22.

Grandpa's Birthday Fun

Momma and Baxter.

James and Morgan happy as can be :)

M&M playing with Oli

Linda and Kevin, off course with the Dr.P:)

We had a dinner party for grandpa's birthday! It was pretty fun. Grandma made her wonderful pot roast with potatoes and carrots. Can't complain at all. Good to all be together:)

LeRoy eating his delicious food

Mom dressed up for a wonderful halloween party that Patti's son Cody threw. They all dressed up as cinderella characters. Patti and Geri were the step sisters and mom was the wicked step mother. Not too shabby. Love the hair :)

Conference Weekend Fun

Playing at the park. As you can see we had so much fun:)

Carving pumpkins!! We decided to carve pumpkins after much thinking of what to do.  So creative. They turned out surprisingly well.

Nick did air Jordan, Rach did Frankenstein, Danny did the Fallen sign, I did the mummy, and Mike did the the Joker. Not too shabby if you ask me.

Nice catch, too bad they couldn't keep it. (too long of story to write) but a long day of memories was made.
