OCTOBER

We made a quick trip to Park City last month with James and Dan and their families.  This was the best attempt of the picture from the lift up to the Alpine Slide. And the below picture is of the girls passed out on the pull out bed where we stayed. It was a fun, quick get away:)

Over UEA we were able to take another weekend getaway to Salt Lake. We thought the kids would enjoy the pool. James and his fam were able to join. On our way home we thought, 'why are we headed home' so we took a detour to Park City to see what deals we would snag on a room. Nick worked his magic and got us a room comped if we sat through a sales pitch the next morning. Totally worth it:) Then we hit up Lagoon with Nick's family on official way home: Great weekend!!

We adopted a little kitten from Nick's grandpa's farm. Actually 3 but this is the only one that's made it. The mother was hit by a car when they were only a few days old. Reece has named her Star.

Reece and Eliza posing before we headed to cousin Kendall's birthday party. It was carnival themed-you can always count on Jamie to throw a great party! They had face paint and balloon animals! Good times.

For Family Night we made it to The Heritage Fall Festival. They had corn maze, giant slide, bounce house, hay maze and shooting. The train and ponies weren't open and we didn't want to attempted getting lost in the corn maze but it was still enjoyable. The men loved the ax throwing and the pellet  gun section. Reece even shot her first gun

Enjoyed the park for the last few warm days of the year!

Sunday dinner at Nana's. It was good enough weather to eat outside. Grandpa Roskelley was so sweet to help Eliza with her plate down the hill to sit with the girls.

My work has a pumpkin contest that the patients vote on. This was my pumpkin for the year:) It didn't win but the girls loved it and that's all that matters.

Reece had a Halloween Parade at preschool. They sang fall songs and showed off their costumes. So cute!

For Trick or Treating she insisted on being Elsa and Eliza being Ana (Along with every other little girl in the world :))

Nephew Nash had his baby blessing last week and Reece just can't get enough of him!

Labor Day

Nick had to work but the girls and I were able to hit up the Wellsville Parade! They enjoyed it for the most part. The cowboys and indians scared them a bit but luckily they didn't last long.

Reece and Brightyn went to the mini vistaun dance clinic last friday and were able to learn a little routine, have dinner and then perform before the football game that night. Reece said she 'loved it'. I know Im not from that neck of the wood but we traded our orange and blue in for blue and yellow for a night. Oh, what we do for our little ones :) These two are such buddies!
This was the practicing/playing around before they had the parents leave and started.

Nick had some time off so of coarse we hit up Lagoon. We even were able to drag some people with us. Grandma and Grandpa Curtis, Cody, James, Morgan, Bright and baby Nash joined in the fun.
Grandma and Grandpa Curtis bought the girls the cutest stuffed animals. Reece and Brightyn got pink dolphins with bows and Eliza got they adorable seahorse. They both had to sleep with them and take them everywhere with the. And Eliza had to have it laying on her pillow and tucked under a blanket with her.

Eliza snuggling on the couch with Olaf and her seahorse while watching Frozen.

August is Over

Cache County Fair!! Reece loved riding the horse but Eliza only made it about half way around the loop before she bailed (good thing I was was walking beside her to catch her :)) We also hit up the rodeo for a short while and then to see the animals!

Summer is winding down and school is starting. Reece couldn't be more thrilled for preschool. She's going to Teacher Jen's preschool and is so excited. The day that she had back to school night she kept asking if it was time. She's laid out multiple outfits on the floor in her bedroom as to what to wear and her and Eliza have been caring backpacks around since.
When Reece grows up she wants to be a Doctor. Her favorite show is Frozen and Sophia. Her favorite food is Spaghetti. Her best friend is Brightyn and her favorite thing to do is play with Eliza.

While Reece is at school Eliza is my big helper at home. She enjoys helping me with laundry.

We were finally able to hit up the Hyrum Splash Pad and it's actually pretty legit.

We were also able to go to the Ogden Temple open house last week. It was so beautiful. Eliza kept getting distracted and wanting to make her own route through but we made it. Reece keeps talking about the 'sparkly' room (Celestial Room). She kept commenting on the crystal lights. It was beautiful and I'm so grateful to be able to take her and let her experience it. We're so blessed to have some many temple so close to us!
