Summer Fun Recap

This summer has been fun and event filled:)  The pictures are random so sorry but still show some of the exciting things that took place. First with some fun facts... Nick was transferred to the North Logan store and he's on days. We're extatic about that!!! We're expecting another baby girl in the first part of January!! Reece is happy but she did state that she'll only share her toys, not her clothes or shoes:) And it's a baby girl we're having, not a sister. When we asked what she wanted, a boy or a girl, she told us a duck:) So that's the joke lately.

We were fortunately enough to get work off and drive to California. Dan and Carly we're going so we decided to horn in on the fun. We stopped in St George on the way down then drove to Vegas for a night as well. It was great. Then off to John's place to play and visit. Thanks again to everyone for their hook-ups and hospitality:) We hit up the beach a few times which was much enjoyed and even made it to Disneyland for a day (Because for those of you who aren't aware Reece is a bit of a Mickey Mouse fanatic) Then we drove down to Nick's old mission grounds of San Diego and enjoyed a few nights there and then it was back home to reality.
Nick, John and Dan were able to body surf on some waves!!

Reece was a little timid of the ocean temperature at first but then quickly changed her mind. She liked how the waves sucked her back in:)

Reece enjoyed playing in the sand with her cousins!!

Taking a quick siesta with dad in the sunshine.

The sweet kids walking hand in hand on the pier

Petting a star fish. She was a little reserved at first but after the boys did she decided one finger would be ok
Sitting on the tram on our way to the gates of Disneyland.  IF we go again it will definately be during a cooler time of year- Let's just say it got a little hot for the pregnancy ladies and the kiddies

Getting ready for a day of fun!!
Back: Danny, Carly, me, Reece, Nick, Kristen, WIlliam and John
Front: Nate and Tyler.
We were able to spot Donald Duck. We had to hurry and track him down for a photo op.

Reece wouldn't look at the camera, she was too excited to be so up close and personal
Just taking a ride in Mickey car

Taking a look in Minnie's Fridge to see what she had to offer
Once again, a little distracted by Mickey Mouse and his close vicinity.
She loved Minnie the most I do believe! She kept talking to her

Then tried to go back and talk to her again (hence the pulling on her dress)

A shot outside out hotel in San Diego. Dan was able to get online and find us a steal of a deal on a very fancy resort

Enjoying the pool outside our room

This summer also entailed some very enjoyable boating/tubing trips to Bear Lake and near by areas. Lynn and Nana bought this amazing tube but that ALL the kids seemed to enjoy

Bear Lake was a little cool but we wouldn't let that stop us for some fun.

On a not so exciting note, Reece fell while running down the sidewalk at Nana's a broke her arm. Luckily she's a trooper and heals quickly and only had to have it splinted for a week. She was a little embarrassed of it at times so this was the only shot I was able to get

She's ready for the rodeo:) We went to the Cache County Fair! Sadly no the rodeo but she enjoyed the animals and the few rides we were able to get in

More boating fun. This time was a little warmer.

She enjoyed some fun times with 'Bryant" :)

She liked walking around listening to music:)
Getting ready to drive us to Grandpa and Grandma Roskelley's for a 4th of July cookout

Making sure she had gas in her engine:)

Yes, We stupidly did the Ragnar Relay again. It was fun just not quite what we expected once it actually arrived. We ended up with 2 pregnant ladies and one who was sick but we finished :)
This year was the "Year of the Mustaches". We borrowed Nick's parent's excursion and dressed it up-Good times For those of you who aren't aware of Ragnar I'll inform you a little. It consists of a team of 12 runners, 6 in each van. Ours was myself, Nick, Danny, Carly, James and Morgan (my two brother's and their wives) It starts at the USU track and ends in Park City. Each runner takes turns and runs a total of 3 different times.- Except in our van's case where certain members of our team had to pick up where other's were unable to. We won't mention any names ;)

This was ONE of Nick's night runs.-He may have took one of mine
Nick getting ready for his first run/climb!!
Carly finishing up her first leg.

OUR TEAM!!
Here's Morgan getting 1 of 2 bags of IV fluid.  James with his mustache trying to comfort her
James getting ready for his first run

This was during James and Nick's exchange.
Danny during his first run passing one of many
Dan again running, Making his sprint into the exchange to hand off to Morgan
Morgan running her first and only :( But she was feeling great and did amazing

"Ya look good, ya feel good, Ya feel good, ya play good"

The Haynes also were able to come and visit this summer and Reece is still talking about it.
They enjoyed feeding the ducks at 1st dam.

They enjoyed riding powerwheels at Nana's

We were all able to make it to Bear Lake. Always a joy

This was the previous tube. The men may have popped it a few times but it sure was enjoyed while it lasted

2 years old, St George escape, and Bye Bye Binki

She's officially 2 years old and she's so fun!! We decided to escape and take a trip to St George for her big day. Nick and I both had some time off and 2 of my brothers were able to join us. It was so nice to get away and Reece sure enjoyed the company-Thanks:) We decided that since we had some time off to be with her that we'd take the plunge and eliminate the binki -Happy Birthday Sweetie. I started to cut off the tip and the she ripped the rest off and it seemed to work. She still asked for it at first but when she got it she looked at it and ..."it broken", and put it down. After a day or two she stopped asking for it altogether. She's such a big girl. She even went potty in the toilet for the first time while we were there. We were outside down the street and she said she needed to go so we hurried back and I put her on and she went. So proud of her. Hasn't really done much since we've been home but still slowly attempting.  As for her birthday I decided to attempt at some Minnie mouse cookies because she is a fan. I thought they turned out pretty cute;)
Singing 'Happy to you Reece'. (Her version:) Such a cutie

Opening some gifts, She woke up and saw them on the chair and said I want more presents, a new toy and book. Smart woman:)

Sporting her new Minnie jammies

We were going to try and hit a water park while were her there for her but the weather was either little too hot or too windy so we opted for playing in the hose. Her and Brightyn enjoyed it. She also got a bubble blower that I missed pictures of but they liked playing in the water with the bubbles:) It was a but

She managed to never leave Danny and Carly alone. Even when they were trying to cuddle on the couch. In comes Reece to look at pictures on the phone and enjoy some mopforn (popcorn)

She couldn't wait to go for a run in her stroller. She loves relaxing in it but it was a little warmer for her than here but still beautiful:)

On a side note, we purchased a new ride, a Ranger. She ABSOLUTELY LOVES it! She'll talk about it daily and getting stuck in the snow and getting muddy. She could ride all day if we let her. She's such a good girl:)

Stopped in to visit Cousin Kendall at Papa Reed's house. The Fisher genes aren't dominant at all:)

Before we left Reece and I decided to put some use to our old bread and feed the ducks a first dam. She loved it.!!

Eating a piece between the throws. She must have been a little hungry:)

 Isn't she the cutest ever:)

Reading some good material with Grandma Roskelley.

She did have her 2 year well check up and did amazing like always. Just one shop and only cried for a few seconds then the sucker cured all :) She's growing great, 27 pounds (60%), and 33 inches tall (45%) and her head is measure in the 85 percentile but he said it's because she's so smart. Which is so true:) She never ceases to amaze me. She's definately a bright one that we''ll have to watch out for and did I mention independent!!
I know, you'd think she was headed to school she looks so big but no, just church with her supplies to get us through:)
