Big Girl Bed

So we've changed over Reece's bed to a toddler bed, or "Big Girl Bed" as we like to call it. She loves it. She'll run right to it in the day and climb on in...in the day:) She's doing ok. She'll climb in after prayers at night but Nick or I have to be by the side of it until she's asleep. And we're lucky enough that in the middle of the night she'll join us. After a few nights she did great and slept straight through, but only for 2 nights :( Then it was back to play. We decided to put an end to it before it got worse. I'd walk her back to her bed and she'd climb in and go back asleep, that is if you were by her bed until she did. A few days ago she officially learned how to open our doors and we don't have locks on them, sadly. I was sleeping and roll over and there she is at the side of the bed with her blanket and glowworm and says, 'I'm awake'. I kindof chuckled and said back to bed and walked her back. So all in all it's going alright minus the midnight interruption that hopefully will die off soon. :)
Just enjoying putting some lotion on her feet-per her request:) she cracks me up

We were able to meet Morgan and Brightyn at the park with Nana for some sliding and swinging. Turned out to be cooler that planned so only really lasted long enough to get a few shots and we were gone :(

She's enjoying dressing up in just about anything she can find. Here she is getting ready to "rock and roll". Yes that is Mickey and Minnie and her phone in had with her snow hat and mittons on:)
She had to drop the mice for a phone call!

She's enjoying galopping around like a horsie

Montant Weekend FUN

Last weekend we went to visit the Haynes' (my sister's family) It was great to be with them. Reece didn't love the car ride so much but it was all worth it for the fun she had with her cousins :) She actually did amazingly well for how long she was in the car over the weekend! Such a trooper. We got there Thursday afternoon and Rach had a delicious dinner ready for us and then we just relaxed and visited while the little ones played. Then Friday we attempted an outing in the town of Missoula. With 4 kids and 3 adults we managed pretty well with only a small casualty along the way:) They surprisingly didn't make us purchase it even though I offered-Loved this shot of them walking hand in hand into Cosco for some scrumptious lunch:) Jaxon enjoyed pushing Reece in the cart while Bridger watched, laughing in the distance-

While we were getting ready that morning they decided to jump in the 'space tub'. Bridger was enjoying sporting the girl's Easter hat

After Jake got off work Friday we drove to Fairfield to his parents ranch. It's was cold and windy but still enjoyable non-the-less.The kiddies enjoying some cheetos-a delicious mid-morning snack
We managed to get a few shots of the girls before a blowout happened.

Reece and Bridger enjoyed taunting the cats. They tried so hard to hide but those two waited patiently for them.

So distraught that she wasn't able to catch one
They were soo funny chasing them around saying, Here kitty kitty kitty:)

I was able to get a shot of Reece laughing hysterically. Jaxon was pushing/ramming her, playing bumper cars in Addi's walker while Bridger watched on the bench belly laughing!! I'm so sad I missed one of him, It was hilarious!

Despite the cold weather we couldn't leave the Ranch without a 4-wheeler ride to see the cows, especially the baby cows:) Reece loved them. The kids didn't last too long due to the wind blowing so strong that they had a hard time breathing but it was fun while it lasted. Later that day we all loaded up in the truck; Rach, Addi, and I in the back and the boys and Reece in the front. Bridger was helping Haynes drive, Jax Man was in the middle and Reece was on Nick's lap. I wish I would have remembered my camera cause it was quite a site. We were creeping through the field while the kids were saying 'MOO' and "Hi Baby Cows" (mostly Reece on that one) She loved it!!! Thanks again. It was a great trip!!

21 months!!!

I know it's not a milestone or anything but I had these pictures and thought I"d catch up on her. She's the funniest thing ever. She's into showing off when she gets excited. She'll bring you her toys and does the cutest little dance. She enjoyed singing, her favorite is Wheels on the Bus. She's getting pretty good with the actions and words:) She'll correct me if I go out of order the sweet thing. Her favorite show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She was walking around the house the other day and Nick caught her saying, Meeshka, Mooshka, Mickey Mouse. So cute!! She loves being the center of attention if she's comfortable with her surroundings, Still not a fan of big groups yet. She's a smart little chap, she'll remember things and people and things people do, which a good and bad at times:) Still a bit of a picky eater but I just keep telling myself that toddlers are. Not quite off the binki yet. We attempted and failed so we'll limit to naps and bedtime for a bit more then toss them and see how that goes for all of us-little nervous, I"m not going to lie ;) She's speaking so well and mimics lots. Loves books and learning new things.

I know it's a terrible habit already but she LOVES phones. She loves pretending to talk on them. I've even caught er fake laughing a few times. She enjoys playing games and looking at the flashcards on 'daddy's phone'

It's so sad how easy she can unlock and use it

She enjoys helping me cook, the few times I do. She's a big help as you can imagine:)

She loves getting all dolled up. She's definately a girl. She loves hats, having her nails painted-whoever invented the quick dry nail polish is genious-, doing her hair (only sits still for a short time on that one), helping mom put on her make up, putting on earrings, the whole shabang:)

She LOVES her babies and her stroller. She'll push them up and down our hallway but when she gets tired she'll rest and try and scoot herself in it with them :)

Showing me her shoes. She wanted to wear both of them, silly girl
She enjoys playing in my paper and plastic dishes. Such a help
Trying to put her socks on, granted it was my sock and she was trying to wear it as a glove. So creative

Nick's 28

I know I"m a bit late but better late than never :) Nick's birthday was last month and we enjoyed the time we were able to spend together. We had some delicious food with our families. Thanks to all who enjoyed the celebration with us.
I made (attempt) at Texas Sheet Cake for Nick. We enjoyed the taste but for some reason it was very VERY thin. The thought was there :) Next time I'll try the same recipe in a smaller pan and see if that helps :)
Reece enjoyed helping him blow out the candles.

After the few times of hearing the Happy Birthday sing, I'd catch Reece singing her own little version. She loves to sing the sweet thing:)

As you can see they enjoyed sitting on the saddle ;)
She was all tired after lunch at the Coppermill:)
