Easter at 11 months

This Easter was enjoyable as you can imagine :) We were lucky enough to have Nick be off work and we were able to spend some fun time together as a family! It was great. Reece was able to participate in a few egg hunts. She was a little timid but still managed to bring home ample amounts of sugar:) The events started Saturday morning with River Heights egg hunt and then to Paradise's where she also attempted to catch a bunny. We were lucky enough to have her on the smaller end of the kids so she luckley didn't catch one:) She mainly enjoyed being with all the other kids and the candy was just a bonus.:) Then Easter Sunday we woke up and went to church with my mom. This sweet little boy who sat in front of us was pretty intrigued by our little Reece. He came back, hugged her, and gave her a kiss or two before his dad pulled him away. Pretty sweet :) After church we headed to Wellsville for a yummy lunch and yet another egg hunt then dinner at my mom's for yet some more food and candy :) We all enjoyed spending time with family and make memories! Thanks everyone for the meals and candy!
The Easter Bunny made it to our house and brought Reece a fluffy bunny and two little pink rattle cars

And brought daddy a four wheeler! Reece enjoys it too :):) Nick took her around the block and she was bouncing on the seat the whole time
At Pam's finding some candy (well I guess she really didn't need to find it, it was strategically placed so she just needed to bend and grab)

Daddy had to help with the high ones :)

Blake was so sweet. Reece was able to go in first but she just stood there a little overwhelmed. Blake noticed and brought her an egg :) So cute

This was taken at the Paradise egg hunt. She again had one strategically placed in front of her. She picked it up but then was trying to share with the boy next to her

This was at the River Heights hunt. It was a little chilly so we didn't really hunt for much :)

On another note...A few weeks ago we were able to stop by the Baby Animal Days. It wasn't the best weather so they moved the animals that they could indoors. This was a little bear they had. They are so funny to watch. They are just like little babies. Pretty cute

Her favorite animals were the calves and baby goats, but she enjoyed all of them :)

WALKING and more

She's walking ALL OVER!! Just the other day she had my phone up to her ear and was walking around jabbering. So CUTE:) The videos below are what Nick was able to catch one night before bed. Reece was laughing hysterically...at what we aren't quite sure but she thought she was SO FUNNY!

Chick Dayz at Cal Ranch :) She loved the baby chicks and baby ducks!

10 MONTHS!

I'm in shock how quick time is flying by! Reece is getting so big, too fast:( Recap on the last month and her milestones...she's taking steps!! I know, she's too young for it but it's happening. Last week, the day we got back from my sisters, she walked 2 steps. Then the next day she went to 4. She's a hit and miss if she's in the mood to walk or if she just wants to crawl and get there quick but she can do it! I'm so proud of her!! She's walking wonderfully with her walker, or anything she can hang on too. I think she just likes the reassurance. Yesterday she decided the garbage can was the perfect height:) I turned around and she'd walked it across our kitchen. Silly girl:) She also is climbing up and down stairs now and LOVES every minute. It's a good thing our house doesn't come equipped with that feature or I think we'd be doing stairs ALL day! She loves to clap and wave and when you sing to her, she tries to sing along:) She's into copying people's actions so watch out:) For example, yesterday during sacrament meeting Reece was watching the conductor. She was fixed on her. Then she started waving her wrist and singing along! So stinking cute. Nick and I were both trying to hold in the laughter. She LOVES babies and animals!! I pulled out my cabbage patch from back in the day and she can't get enough:) She'll drag it around and give her "kisses" (She opens her mouth and eats her nose) So cute. And when it comes to animals she can't get enough, especially the taxidermy. We were at Cabela's a bit ago and she was laughing so hard at them all, with her binki in of coarse. Then we went to Cal Ranch and Als and she was fixed on the heads above the gun cases! So funny. She'll love the zoos when it gets a little warmer. Can't wait to see her reactions.
So funny, Reece and I were folding laundry and guess who decided it would be more comfortable to be IN the basket :)

Taking a few steps, but I had the camera set on picture not video, my bad:)

Montana Fun

Last weekend we made a quick but so worth it trip to Missoula to visit Rach and her fam! Reece LOVED it! We went to the pool, the carousel, some shopping, and were able to have some enjoyable, relaxing, bonding time just hanging out! Thanks SO SO MUCH for the hospitality and company! And special thanks to Jax Man for letting us use his bed:) It was nice and comfy!! We'll have to play again soon!
She didn't quite know what to think about the spinning, nor I, after one ride I was a little loopy ;) She did have some occasional smiles during the ride though we just missed them with the camera but you can imagine :)

Reece liked the water park but it was a bit on the cold side. We spent most of the time in the hot (warm) tub. It was so relaxing! Nick and Haynes were even able to get a few runs down the slides. Sorry, didn't get pics of those.

9 MONTHS!!!

I'm still in shock that our little peanut is already 9 months old! She's growing so dang fast, but she's such a blast to be around. She thinks she's just the funniest thing ever! She's such a happy baby now (when she's not sick :)) She'll just start laughing at who knows what and then give a few claps, so stinkin cute! She had her doctor's appointment last week. She's doing great except that her weight has dropped because she's been sick for basically the last month (dang RSV), but she should gain it back quickly once she starts eating her usual amount again. Her exact measurements are: head 17 3/4 inch (80%), height is 28 inches (60%) and her weight is down to 17 pounds 14.5 ounces (35%). As far as fun things she's doing, where to begin... she's still walking along everything and she's standing fora few seconds now on her own and getting more stable as the days go by:) She's flinging a ball pretty good when she plays toss with nick. It's funny, the other day we noticed that she's mostly using her left hand to throw and feed herself, so I guess we'll just have to see what happens there:) She's very ticklish, mainly on her sides and the base of her neck. And if you get her when she's in the right mood she'll let out a pretty good belly laugh:) Nick can get her laughing so hard. So fun to watch! She loves Oli! Yesterday she was crawling towards him and lowered her head and just rammed him. it was pretty entertaining. She'll also stand against the couch and grab ahold of one end of his toy. He'll be on the couch and grab ahold of the other end and they'll just tug and tug. I've tried multiple times to get a picture or video but by the time I get the camera, they're done:( She's pushing her walker across the room, but again by the time i get the camera she's either ran into something or passes something and becomes distracted Below is an attempt to get the walker recorded but I'll keep trying though. She FINALLY had a tooth come in a few weeks ago and a second is on it's way, so you can believe that she'll try and eat anything she can (of coarse except her baby food) Her favorite thing is popcorn no doubt (Fisher genes shining through once again:) I can't get her pieces fast enough. It takes Nick and I to inspect to be able to keep up with her. We line them up along the edge of the couch and she'll stand there just grabbing one after another. She shovels them in so quickly and you better believe that the few that miss her mouth, Oli is right there at her feet to pick them up. She's clapping at just about everything she does, especially the things she knows she shouldn't get into. She was doing something she shouldn't the other day and Nick told her 'no' and she turned around and started clapping and smiling at him. She's such a stinker sometimes but we love her so so much and are so greatful she's a part of our lives!!
Standing with her walker
caught them lounging:)
Nick was able to catch a combo of clapping and flinging the ball

Valentines 2011

Valentine's Day was great! Nick is so sweet. He showed up after work with these beautiful flowers and the sweetest card that, sad to admit, brought a tear or two to my eye:) And then for Reece he got her this cute balloon with a ring pop attached:) It was so thoughtful and cute. Reece also got this amazingly plush ginormous pink hippo. She LOVES it! So cute to watch her play on it. :) We also went to Maddox for dinner! It was delish as always!! Can't beat those rolls:) Thanks sweetie for making it so special! I love you!!

Reece with her valentines from daddy :)
Licking her ring pop. She liked it:) Just little messy but that makes it more fun, right?!?
This hippo is the most wonderful thing! I like to use it as a pillow while we're playing on the floor
"Blink, Blink" :)
She was bouncing trying to ride it! So funny to watch
She's so happy and excited!
Then she spotted dad (and the camera)
She wanted the camera so bad, if you couldn't tell
Not sure what jibberish I was saying but she' had fun with the ballon, and her furrowed brow after just makes me laugh :) That's been her new thing, then she'll smile
