Nick's 27, Reece 8 months and first haircut

Time is flying by! I seriously can't believe how fast it's going. My little baby is already 8 months and Nick's already 27. Things are great though:) For Nick's birthday we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with his side of the fam. Reece enjoyed the saddle with daddy but was a little unsure of it alone:) She's such a stinking cutie! Then we went to Takara Sushi (Nick's fave) the next day for lunch with the members of my fam that could make it. Then someone was smart and came up with Shaffer doughnuts for dessert cause Nick didn't want a cake and it was right next door oddly enough! Needless to say we consumed enough calories for the week but it was greatly enjoyed and well worth it:)

Reece is walking along everything and getting pretty good to get back down to the crawling position, Oh and did i mention she is so stinkin fun to be around. She makes me laugh at so many little things she does! She's started this new thing where she'll crinkle up her nose with her mouth wide open and belly laugh and occasionally throw in a snort or two-LOVE IT!!! She's standing on her own pretty well now too, and for some reason she thinks she can walk over to you but as soon as she starts to move, she looses her balance and falls. But the sweet little thing will just get back up and try it again. The other night I even caught her trying to climb out of her crib! We're in trouble, she's way to young for that:(

On New Year's Eve it became apparent to us that her hair was getting a little crazy. It was SO long in some areas and let's just say it, out of control. So Aunt Morgan was sweet enough to get out the scissors and start chopping! She did a great job. It worked well cause Reece just fell asleep so I just held her while Morgan tried her best to just even it out the best that it could be! It was sad to see the long pieces fall but looks SO much better. And it's soo blond now!

First Christmas with Reece

Christmastime was so fun this year! Reece loved the lights and presents. She wasn't spoiled at all ;) She received so many wonderful toys and she loves them ALL! Thanks again to everyone!
She was so excited for Christmas. She woke up at 6 all happy and chatty. We opened gifts and saw what Santa brought. We then headed to Uncle Cody's and then over to Nana's. Busy but fun :)

My sister and her family came down and spend christmas break with us. It was so nice to have them here, even with the sicknesses that always seem to make there way in around the holidays :) Thanks for coming! We were even able to get a cousin shot while we had them all together!

Can you believe how old she looks:) My mom had a booster seat out on the floor for my nephew Bridger and Reece decided to climb on in. So grown up!

7 MONTHS!!

Time is flying! She's so stinkin fun to play with and be around!! I just love it! She's crawling like crazy and into just about anything she can get to:) The christmas gifts used to be wrapped and under the tree and my dear sweet Reece has been sweet enough to help everyone out and start unwrapping them. So if you're gift is one of the special few that was on the front lines of the battlefield, Sorry :) A little Christmas bonus from yours truly :):) She's loving Christmastime. The tree and lights and of coarse the wonderful christmas shows, can't miss those :) As far as growing is concerned she's changing and progressing constantly. She's pulling herself up on just about anything. Last night Nick was laying on the floor and she started climbing on him and then became so mesmerized with his belt! So funny! And then when her legs get tired from standing, she'll just kneel on down and chill there for some time playing and discovering whatever she can get her hands on! We love her so much and can't seem to get enough of her!!
She just loves climbing and playing her in her diaper caddy! Wonderful toy :)

We finally were able to get an updated family photo, and as you can see, Reece was excited about it :)



We finally got Reece a jumper. I've been looking on KSL for a good one because she loves the one at Pam's and I came across this adorable horse. She just loves it! She'll get bouncing so fast. It's so funny to watch! She's so fun to be with. I hate dropping her off and leaving her when i go to work, but she gets so excited when Nick or I go and pick her up after, It makes it bearable. We'll walk in and she'll hear our voice and look up with a huge cheeser grin and start B-lining it on over :)





She's getting so big! She's so fun to be with lately! When it's just us two playing in our family room, I'll catch myself just laughing at some of the things she does. She's such a cutie!

She can drink from a straw and a cup (with help) pretty good now so we had her try a sippy cup the other day. She did surprisingly well. I think she mainly loved the cold juice inside:)
She's all over now and into just about everything :) She can get around pretty darn quick and she just loves Oli! She'll go over to him and just start talking and laughing. So funny:)

6 MONTHS

I really can't believe how fast the time is going. My little peanut is already 6 months old! She's such a sweetheart, yes she has her diva moments though :) She's growing so fast. She had her doctors appt last wed. She's 16 pounds 7 oz (60%), 26 1/3 inch tall (75%) and her head is 17in (75%). Pretty darn perfect! She's eating anything she can get her hands on. Every time Nick and I try to bring a bite to our mouths, she's there ready to grab and try and intercept it :) She was doing great for about 2 weeks sleeping threw the night but the last few days she's wanting her 3 am feeding. (but who doesn't :)) She's rolling like crazy and so close to crawling it's scary. The other day she was on all fours and was able to move one of her knees up under her but wasn't quite ready with her arms and sprung forward and face-planted. But she's progressing every day! She loves to feel and examine everything possible, especially faces and hair:). Nick will lay on the floor and she'll work her way on over to his head and grab two nice handfuls of his hair. So sad but so cute. And when you hold her or lay on the ground next to her she'll run her little fingers along your face, usually poking out an eye or two and having your lip pulled out. She's strong :) She also gets bored rather easily. She'll be good playing with a toy or in a certain environment and then the next thing you know, death shreek :) Fun for all!! She's learning that when she fusses something happens. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I'll try and ignore her but she has some mature lungs on her. My mom watched her last Tuesday while I was at work and for some reason Reece wasn't particularly happy that day and I guess she screamed the entire day! My mom was at a loss too. She developed a headache within the first hour. She'd tried everything to quiet her but nothing seemed to work. Then when Nick showed up to bring her home, she was all smiles! She's definitely a daddy's girl :) She's done the same to me a number of times. Fussy little thing all day but as soon as Nick walks in the door for lunch, happy as can be! Little stinker! But she's so cute and sweet when she's happy :O her smile is so adorable! Her whole face lights up and her laugh is contagious! She'll stare at Oli and just smile and laugh. It's just makes Nick and my day! So cute :) We're so blessed to have her in our lives! She's the most precious thing and we're so thankful and proud to be her parents!!




Her hair is getting so long, well at least on top where it's hasn't been rubbed off :) Not quite sure what to do with it:) And can't really tell from the pictures but the colors getting lighter
