First day Home
It's been a big day for the little jewel. Started off with a drive into the doctor's office for a bilirubin redraw and then to the office to show her off :) As you can see, when they called us back with the results of the redraw not such great news. Turns out that it took a big jump, not for the better, and the poor little thing has to be stuck under bili lights. Hopefully just until Monday. We do have to go get it retested tomorrow morning to make sure it's still not climbing. It just blows us away that she can have such high bilirubin with the amount of food she's taking in. She''s eating about 2 ounces every hour and a half to 2 hours. She won't be some petit for long :) When they weighed her today she was at 7 lbs which is an increase from when we left the hospital by an ounce. So already getting back to birth weight which is wonderful :)
These were taken before we found out the great news ;) when she was still able to be clothed and held :( She's so precious!

SHE"S HERE!!!
Reece Fisher was born yesterday afternoon at 05:14 PM weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 18 1/2 inches long. She's so beautiful with long dark hair. Still not quite sure where that came from for the fact that Nick and I were bald until at least age 1 but we're so happy. The labor went surprisingly well. Went up yesterday morning around 8:30 and was at a almost a 5. 9 hours later she arrived all safe and healthy. For a while they were having some trouble reading my contractions so they had to put an internal monitor on her scalp to read them better. After about a hour later the decision was made that pitocin was needed to help my contractions. I was thinking labor alright, I can handle this, I don't need an epidural. I told Nick to go grab something to eat, I was fine. So he did. Then they started the pitocin and everything changed. I had the most terrible back labor. It was the most pain I think I've ever experienced. I text Nick telling him to hurry back, I needed an epidural now and needed him there. Apparently I wasn't the only woman on the floor who thought that because the anesthesiologist was in demand and I was 3rd in line. So sad but good because that gave nick some time to get back. The next hour was somewhat of a blurr. I just remember asking for some IV pain meds to hold be off until I could get my epidural. Being allergic to morphine and codeine my options were limited but i was giben fentanyl, which I'm not a fan off. My head was spinning, but at least my pain was decreased. Finally nick got there and not a moment too soon. After receiving my epidural it went pretty quick and smooth. Went from a 6 to an 8 to complete in 2 hours. And after some wonderul pushing on my part :) She came. Nick was so sweet and such a comfort! It's so crazy to look at her and have her be ours. Still hasn't quite registered yet :) Here are some pictures to enjoy. She keeps changing so much it's crazy so I'll try and keep updated with pics. Thanks for everyone's endless support and love!!
Happy mother! (Crazy to say :))
Proud father :) Nick has been so good with her and she just loves him so much! She instantly stops crying when he holds her or is near. Daddy's girl :)

Things are progressing
Had a no show at work yesterday and thought we'd take a look and see just how big she's getting, because I know I am :) (Those pictures will come soon Rach) Well, she didn't cooperate too well for us, again. She kept turning her head away as soon as we got a face shot but we did manage to catch one almost head on. Hopefully it portrays how it should. One side of the face is shadowed but I think it shows the other side pretty well. Once again, she shows her big 'ole cheeks and a scary little eye:) According to her measurements she's 35.6 weeks and 5 lbs 12oz, but with the ultrasound you can give or take 6 oz. But either way still pretty good sized considering I'm only 34.1 wks. What can I say, we grow them big :)

Update
Here we are at In-n-Out in St George after the Tahoe adventure. We had to refuel our energy after it broke down and they all had to push it to a car shop while I steered, in the dark, up hill.

This one is a head on, kind of looking down onto her face. Her fist again is covering one eye but I thought it was a cute shot of her nose, lips and one eye:) Chubby little cheek:) Hope you enjoyed.
Things are going great! Had a fun weekend in St George but pictures are on mom's camera so I'll try and get them posted shortly :) I'm just over 29 weeks and feeling pretty good except for the rib and kidney shots that occur but it's good to know she's still moving and active. I got some recent pictures of her. Nick thinks they're a little freaky but I thought they were cute to see. This first picture is sideways, sorry. It's a profile of her face that's in the top left corner and her hand is in a fist pushed up against her eye and forehead. She looking down. Hope that helps make out the black and white shapes :)
